In February 2024, a member of the public brought the ex-residential property at 77 Argyll Street, Lochgilphead to the attention of the KLTR.
The property was deemed suitable for OPTS with the relevant processes being implemented. The Scottish Government public body trawl was carried out in December 2024 with no interest noted. The relevant Local Authority was made aware of the property but declined to take ownership. Owing to this, the property has been made available to suitably constituted community groups to apply for ownership.
